Fatal motorcycle crash in Sydney

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a motorcyclist in Sydney’s CBD today, NSW Police say.

About 11.40am today, emergency services were called to Liverpool Street, following reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a tipper truck with a dog trailer.

The rider died at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a man aged in his 40s, was taken to Sydney Eye Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.

Officers from Sydney City Local Area Command attended and a crime scene was established.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
