Fatal Motorcycle Crash: Police at East Lismore Scene

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash on the state's Northern Rivers region.

About 7.40pm yesterday (Sunday 14 September 2025), emergency services were called to Ballina Road, East Lismore, following reports a motorcycle had left the road and crashed into a tree.

Officers attached to Richmond Police District commenced CPR on the rider – a 30-year-old man – before he was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
