Police are investigating the death of a motorcyclist in Blakehurst yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 6.20pm (Monday 12 February 2018), a 57-year-old man was riding his motorcycle north on the Princes Highway, Blakehurst.
About 100 meters before the intersection of Hatfield Street he collided with a signpost and was thrown from his bike.
Despite efforts from the public and NSW Ambulance Paramedics, the man was unable to be revived.
Officers from St George Police Area Command will investigate the circumstances of the crash and prepare a report for the Coroner.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
