Fatal single-vehicle crash in South Coast

Police are investigating following a fatal single vehicle crash on the South Coast overnight, NSW Police say.

Just before 1am today, emergency services responded to reports of a Toyota Hilux utility crashed into a tree off the Princes Highway at Cockwhy via Termeil.

The male driver, and sole occupant, a man aged in his 40s, died at the scene.

Officers from Shoalhaven Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
