Fatal single-vehicle crash near Narrabri

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's New England region overnight.

Emergency services were called to Culgoora Road, Wee Waa, north-west of Narrabri, just before 4am (Sunday 5 January 2020), after a Toyota Landcruiser was found on its roof.

Officers from Oxley Police District and paramedics attended; however, the driver, a 50-year-old man, had died at the scene.

A crime scene was established as officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Initial inquiries suggest the crash occurred sometime after 11.15pm yesterday (Saturday 4 January 2020).

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
