Fatal single-vehicle crash near Yamba

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash on the state's north coast yesterday.

About 10.30pm (Monday 15 March 2021), emergency services were called to Brooms Head Road, Taloumbi, south of Yamba, after reports a Holden Colorado had left the roadway and hit a tree.

Officers from Coffs/Clarence attended and found the driver trapped. The 24-year-old man died at the scene

A crime scene was established and forensically examined.

Inquiries continue into the circumstance surrounding the crash and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
