The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash at Albany Creek, in Brisbane's north yesterday, 14 August.
Initial investigations indicate just after 5:15pm, police were called to Explorer Drive, Albany Creek in relation to a white Corolla hatchback colliding with a fence and falling over a three-metre retaining wall.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, an 83-year-old Albany Creek man was initially transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital, however, has since passed away from his injuries.
Police are appealing to witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV to come forward.
