A man has died following a two vehicle traffic crash at Beerwah this morning, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary investigations indicate around 10.25am a van that was turning into Australia Zoo on Steve Irwin Way collided with an oncoming ute.
The driver of the van, a 57-year-old man from Canada, sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A female passenger from the van and the male driver of the ute received minor injuries and were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Steve Irwin Way has just reopened to traffic.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
