Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash at Kippa-Ring this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate at about 4.40pm a motorbike travelling north along Anzac Avenue has collided with a car turning right into Hindmarsh Street.
The 26-year-old rider, a man from Scarborough was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition but was later pronounced deceased.
The 37-year-old driver of the car, a man from Newport was uninjured.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or was driving in the area around 4.40pm who may have dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
