Police are investigating a single vehicle fatal traffic crash that occurred at Newstead yesterday evening (December 14), Queensland Police say.
At about 11.30pm, a male riding a motorcycle crashed on Skyring Terrace.
The 24-year-old McDowall man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No one else was injured during the incident.
Police are appealing to any members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or have relevant dash-cam footage to contact police.
Police would also like to speak with any witnesses who observed the silver Honda motorcycle travelling in Vernon Terrace or Macquarie Street prior to the crash.
