Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred at Pimpama early this morning, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate at about 12.45am, a vehicle heading north in the southbound lanes collided with another vehicle.
A female passenger in one of the vehicles was seriously injured and was later pronounced deceased at the scene.
The drivers of both vehicles were transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
