Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash at Placid Hills this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate around 3.55pm a vehicle travelling in an easterly direction along Old Toowoomba Road has left the road and collided with a tree.
The driver of the vehicle, a 23-year-old man from Gatton was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
