One person has died in a single vehicle, fatal traffic crash which happened earlier this morning, Queensland Police say.
At 2am, a vehicle travelling on Appleby Road at Stafford, left the road, crashed through a fence and hit the front of a house.
One person was declared deceased at the scene.
A second person was taken to the Lady Cilento Hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.
Appleby Road between Stafford Road and Redwood Streets remains closed with diversions in place.
Investigations are continuing.
