A man has passed away following a traffic crash on the Burnett Highway approximately three kilometres on the Gayndah side of Ban Ban Springs, Queensland Police say.
Initial information indicates at around 11.20pm last night (June 3) a car and semi-trailer collided head-on at that location.
The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The male driver of the truck was transported to the Bundaberg Hospital with non life-threatening abdominal injuries.
The forensic crash unit is investigating.
