The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash at West Woombye on Saturday night, 27 June.
At 11.50pm, a black Audi A6 sedan was travelling on Blackall Range Road when it left the road and collided with a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 43-year-old Mapleton man, was declared deceased at the scene.
Anyone who saw the Audi prior to the crash or anyone with dashcam footage is urged to contact Policelink.
