A man has died following a traffic crash involving a motorbike that occurred in Augustine Heights this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Initial information suggests that at about 12.15pm the 18-year-old man lost control of his motorbike while travelling along Augusta Parkway and struck a pole near Leon Capra Drive.
The man from Springfield Lakes suffered serious injuries as a result and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigations into the crash are continuing.
Augusta Parkway is expected to reopen shortly.
