Fatal traffic crash in Forest Glen, QLD

Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred in Forest Glen earlier this evening, Queensland Police say.

Preliminary information suggests that around 6.45pm, a vehicle was travelling on the Bruce Highway when it has lost control, mounted an embankment and rolled, landing on its roof.

A man aged in his twenties died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, a 51-year-old man, and a second passenger, a 50-year-old man, were transported to the Nambour Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The northbound lanes of the Bruce Highway were closed for approximately three hours, but have since re-opened

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
