Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating a fatal two vehicle traffic crash at Langshaw near Gympie this morning, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary inquiries indicate at 7.10am a truck was headed south on Eel Creek Road when a car headed north has collided with it. The car has then left the road and gone down a gully.
The driver of the car, a 67-year-old Gympie man, died at the scene.
The truck driver sustained no physical injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
