Fatal Traffic Crash: Police at Mount Pleasant

A man has died following a traffic crash on the Bruce Highway at Mount Pleasant, Mackay, this morning, 19 July.

Just after 10.15am, police were called to reports a motorcycle had crashed into a trailer being towed by a utility stopped near the intersection of Mackay Bucasia Road and the Bruce Highway.

As a result of the impact, the rider, a 45-year-old man, died at the scene. No one else was injured.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations continue and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
