Fatal Traffic Crash: Police Respond at Spring Mountain

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash at Spring Mountain on Friday, 27 February.

About 5.25pm, a purple Toyota Landcruiser and a white Toyota Landcruiser were travelling in opposite directions on the Centenary Highway, near exit 33, before colliding.

The driver of the purple Toyota, a 21-year-old Purga woman, sustained critical injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

On 28 February, she passed away as a result of her injuries.

The driver of the white Toyota, a 23-year-old Greenbank man, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Investigations are ongoing.
