A man has died following a fatal single-vehicle crash at Apple Tree Creek last night, 30 August.
At about 9.30pm, emergency services were called to the Bruce Highway following reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Initial investigations indicate the driver was travelling from Childers Road and has failed to negotiate the turn onto the Bruce Highway, crashing into the culvert between the two-lane highway.
The driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 60-year-old Bundaberg South man, died at the scene.
Forensic Crash Unit's investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
