Fatal Traffic Incident at Fraser Coast: Police Respond

A woman has died following a single-vehicle traffic incident in St Helens near Maryborough this morning.

Around 8.55am, police and emergency services were called to reports of a vehicle in water on Saltwater Creek Road.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 73-year-old Hervey Bay woman, died at the scene.

Any witnesses, including anyone with relevant dashcam vision, is urged to contact police.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations into the circumstances leading up to the crash, remain ongoing.
