Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a woman was found deceased on a road at Yarraman overnight., Queensland Police say
Police were called to the New England Highway near the intersection of Tarong Yarraman Road at 11.40pm. On arrival they found a woman deceased in the middle of the road.
Police are appealing for anyone who was travelling the New England Highway between 11pm and 11.40pm to contact police. Police also urge anyone with relevant dash cam vision to contact police.
It is believed the woman was on the road and has been struck by a passing vehicle.
Investigations are continuing.
