A man has died after a workplace incident in Sydney's west.
About 1.30pm today (Friday 13 March 2026), emergency services were called to a business on Billington Place, Emu Plains, following reports a man had suffered an electric shock while performing maintenance on the building.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man – believed to be aged in his 40s – however, he died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command have established a crime scene, and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
The incident is not being treated at suspicious.
SafeWork NSW has been notified.
Billington Place will remain closed to the public for some time while inquiries continue at the scene.
