Fatality following single vehicle crash in Bathurst

Police will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner after the death of a man in a single vehicle crash in Bathurst this morning.

Shortly after midnight tomorrow police and emergency services were called to the Great Western Highway, 10km west of Bathurst, following reports of a crash, NSW Police say.

Police from Chifley Local Area Command attended and found a vehicle off road and rolled.

The male driver aged in his 20s, died at the scene.

The male passenger, also in his 20s, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for minor injuries before being taken to Orange Health Services.

The Great Western Highway is currently closed for a number of hours to enable examination of the scene.
