Pubs, clubs and other licensed venues will continue to benefit from liquor licence fee relief in the coming financial year.
Licence costs will be halved for eligible licensees who were impacted by COVID-19 safety measures.
Attorney-General Vickie Chapman said this round of waivers will be available to licence holders who received JobKeeper payments in the second extension from January to March.
"It's clear that a number of venues still need help, especially given the length of time that important safety measures have been in place," Attorney-General Chapman said.
"This waiver will help the industry to bounce back stronger than ever before and ensures jobs are protected."
The Marshall Liberal Government initially waived liquor licence fees for the 2020/21 financial year, to help businesses through the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
More than 5,500 licence holders benefitted from this fee relief measure, with a further 120 waivers approved on grounds of financial hardship.
This culminated in a total of $3.5 million worth of licences being waived – putting money back in the pockets of business owners at a time when they needed it most.
"This was a significant investment by the Marshall Liberal Government, during what has been a year of unparalleled challenges," Ms Chapman said.
"It is important licence holders know that, during a pandemic or not, this Government is here to back you, and provide the support you need.
"If you need fee relief due to financial hardship – there are options, and I encourage you to explore them."
Ms Chapman said eligible venues could apply for a further waiver by visiting the CBS website (https://www.cbs.sa.gov.au/).
