A female pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Dandenong today, Victoria Police say.
The woman, believed to be aged in her late 50s, was struck while crossing Stud Road about 1.05pm.
Emergency services attempted to revive the woman but she died at the scene.
The 24-year-old male driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police.
