As part of the MidCoast's Festival of Place celebrations, everyone is invited to help create a large public art mural which will later be displayed in various locations around the region.
Festival of Place street performances by many of our local performers have received great reception in Harrington, Nabiac, and Wingham, with more pop up performances scheduled right up until 17 April.
Now you can be part of the Festival's art event.
"Internationally renowned, award-winning author and illustrator Stephen Michael King will be leading two sessions for participants to each produce a small canvas," explained the Manning Regional Art Gallery's Public Programs and Education Engagement Officer, Ali Haigh.
"Each 10 x10cm canvas panel will then be colour mapped to form part of a greater artwork, directed by Stephen Michael King.
"The great thing is, this is a totally free event and all ages can participate int his activity, with two sessions being held during these school holidays."

The Make a Mural event is a collaboration with MidCoast Council's Libraries, Manning Regional Art Gallery and Stephen Michael King with funding from NSW Government as part of The Festival of Place – Summer Fund.
