Fiber Asset Management Pty Ltd, trading as Supa Networks Pty Ltd, has been issued with a formal warning for failing to notify the ACMA of planned and completed broadband infrastructure installations.
Carriers that install telco network infrastructure for premises in new and re-development real estate project areas must notify the ACMA within ten business days of entering into an infrastructure installation contract, and again when they have completed the works.
An ACMA investigation found that between February and April 2025, Fiber Asset Management failed to submit notifications within the required timeframes on 42 occasions.
Notification rules provide important transparency regarding the availability of networks, enabling timely connection of premises and supply of services to end-users.
If the company breaches these rules again it could lead to further enforcement action from the ACMA.
