Fifth Person Charged After Northbridge Brawl

A fifth teenage boy has been charged following a brawl at a park in Sydney's northern suburbs earlier this month.

About 7.30pm on Saturday 10 May 2025, officers from North Shore Police Area Command responded to reports of a brawl at an oval hosting a community event along Sailors Bay Road, Northbridge.

Officers were told a 17-year-old boy had been assaulted by a group of teenagers.

The 17-year-old was treated for facial injuries and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital.

Four teenagers have since been charged and remain before the courts.

Following inquiries, about 10.30am today (Friday 30 May 2025), detectives arrested a 16-year-old boy, before being taken to Hornsby Police Station where he was charged with affray and common assault.

He was granted conditional bail to appear before Childrens Court on Tuesday 24 June 2025.

Investigations are continuing.
