Concerningly, fraud against government programs, including services and grants, can be exploited by transnational criminal organisations to fund their illegal activities.
This Counter Fraud Partnership Arrangement formalises the already close relationship between the Australian Commonwealth Fraud Prevention Centre and the United Kingdom's Public Sector Fraud Authority.
Through this partnership experts from our two countries will work together to train those at the frontline in how to identify emerging threats and protect the public sector from fraud.
