Final Touches On Mount Waverley Reserve Upgrades

mount waverley reserve pavilion

We're putting the finishing touches on a two-storey sports pavilion, delivered as part of the Mount Waverley Reserve Masterplan.

The new facility will better accommodate the needs of existing users, including the Waverley Blues Football/Netball Club and Mount Waverley Cricket Club.

The pavilion completion follows the redevelopment of the sports oval, including an upgrade of the lighting and construction of a perimeter pathway, while a redeveloped playspace has been completed and opened to the community. A new public toilet facility has also been finished.

New cricket nets have been completed, including six turf and five synthetic wickets, as has a storage shed.

The project budget includes a $7m commitment from the Australian Government, $2m from the Victorian Government, $2.2m from Council and $100,000 each from the tenant clubs, AFL and Cricket Victoria.
