The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Director, NT Fire and Rescue Service have declared a 24 HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Wednesday the 24 of July 2019 for the following areas.
DARWIN AND ADELAIDE RIVER FIRE WEATHER FORECAST AREAS
The Fire Ban is declared for a 24hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Wednesdaythe 24 of July 2019.
Thisincludes the DARWIN, BATCHELOR, ADELAIDE RIVER EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS and theLITCHFIELD MUNICIPALITY and COOMALIE SHIRE.
No person shall light a fire or cause afire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within thefire ban areas.
TheFire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
