Fire destroys two homes, seriously damages one in Lurnea

Investigations are underway into the cause of a fire which damaged three homes in Sydney’s west today, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Napier Avenue at Lurnea, just before 12.45pm (Wednesday 9 May 2018) and found the homes well alight.

The blaze was extinguished by Fire & Rescue NSW, however, two houses were destroyed and a third was seriously damaged.

The occupants self-evacuated and no injuries have been reported.

Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The cause of the fire is still to be determined, however, it is not being treated as suspicious.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
