"Heavy rainfall this Wet Season is set to fuel another dangerous Top End fire season and you need to know how to best prepare and protect your property.

"Anyone on a rural property needs to have a plan, from the smaller house blocks to large stations.

"We can also help you with weed ID, planning and management advice.

"Preparing and acting early makes a huge difference in how a bushfire can impact you and your neighbours."

Ms Bremner said residents can book appointments to be held from 1-5 March to find out more about bushfire survival planning and Weed ID advice.

Those unable to book appointments are also welcome to attend the family friendly Open Day on Saturday, 5 March from 10am to 2pm, where residents will be able to:
