Firearms stolen during break-in in Luddenham

An investigation has commenced following the theft firearms during a break-in at Luddenham last night, NSW Police say.

About 11.30pm (Friday 23 March 2018), an 85-year-old woman was at her home address on Campbell Street when she was woken by a noise.

She got up to investigate and saw a man inside her home; he immediately ran from the premises without incident.

Police were called and a check of the premises revealed two registered firearms had been stolen from a gun safe.

Officers from Nepean Police Area Command are investigating the break-in and would like to speak with anyone who may have information that can assist.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
