Police are investigating the theft of five firearms after a break and enter in the state’s Far West, NSW Police say.
Sometime between 6am on 17 May 2016 and 4.30pm on 27 May 2016, unknown person/s broke into a shed on a property about 5km south of Wilcannia.
During the break and enter, five registered firearms were stolen from a safe. They include three .22 bolt action rifles, a .22 magnum bolt action rifle and a .222 bolt action rifle.
Officers from Barrier Local Area Command are continuing their inquiries and are appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact Crime Stopers.
