Firearms stolen in Oberon

Police are appealing for information after firearms and tools were stolen from a property in Oberon yesterday, NSW Police say.

Between 10am and 3.30pm (Sunday 5 November 2017), a property on Shooters Hill Road was broken into.

Four firearms were stolen from the location:

- .223 Stevens;

- Mugiga Eiber side by side 12 gauge shotgun;

- Winchester model 94 30/30; and

- Anschutz model 1451 .22 rifle

Four Stihl chainsaws were also taken during the incident.

Officers from Chifley Local Area Command were notified and commenced investigations.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Bathurst Police or Crime Stoppers.
