Police are investigating after firearms were stolen from a property near Hawkesbury over the weekend, NSW Police say.
Between 11.30pm on Saturday 27 January and 7.30am on Sunday 28 January 2018, a number of items were stolen from a property on Terrace Road, North Richmond.
The items stolen included two firearms, an amount of ammunition and personal papers.
A rear door to the property was forced open and an item was located nearby on the ground.
Upon discovering the break and enter, the resident contacted police from Hawkesbury Local Area Command, who attended the scene and launched an investigation into the incident.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact Police or Crime Stoppers.
