First Brisbane VIP Winner announced

The Property Council is delighted to announce Erin Navin as the first weekly winner of the Brisbane VIP competition, who will take home a prize package valued at over $2000.

The Property Council's Queensland Executive Director, Jen Williams, said that the competition had seen a strong uptake in participating office buildings as more people returned to the city centre.

"Last week the city was noticeably more active and vibrant than we had seen in a long time. This comes as a relief to the many businesses needing further support, following a difficult start to the year," she said.

"The Property Council is hopeful that with the peak of the pandemic now past us, this upward trajectory will continue.

"If anyone needs an extra reason to come into the city, the Brisbane VIP competition gives visitors a chance to win weekly prizes worth thousands of dollars and be in the running for the grand prize, valued at over $37,000," Ms Williams said.

Erin Navin, who alternates between working from home and in the city, said that she was happy to be the first Brisbane VIP winner.

"While I work in a hybrid model there are benefits to working from both home and in the city," Ms Navin said.

"Some things about the city are irreplaceable like the benefits of collaborating in a team and catching up with colleagues face to face for a coffee," she said.

"And now that I have a free carpark and coffee vouchers this will be even easier!

"I work along the riverfront and have unfortunately seen a lot of businesses there be impacted by the floods, so hopefully the Brisbane VIP competition can provide them with a boost in activity." Ms Navin said.

Brisbane VIP is running from March 8 - April 8 and offers over $40,000 worth of prizes for people visiting the city.
