Cricket Australia (CA) has confirmed an extraordinary response from Cairns fans following the sold-out opening match of the series in Darwin.
A forecast crowd of 10,000 fans will descend on Cazalys Stadium to witness this historic occasion, offering the local community an opportunity to experience the excitement of the shortest format at the highest level.
Cricket Australia CEO Todd Greenberg said:
"We're really pleased to see the Cairns T20I has sold out already, this reflects the buzz and excitement surrounding the three-match BKT Tyres Men's T20I series.
"These matches are history-making for Cairns, as it's the first time the Australian Men's T20I team is appearing at this venue. Its clear fans are eager to be part of it.
"We're thrilled to be bringing world-class cricket to these regions and look forward to an exciting conclusion to the series."
