First-round offers - be better prepared

The University of Adelaide has welcomed today’s early release of first-round university offers, ahead of the main offer round on 15 January 2019.

"The change in date of first-preference offers means that thousands of students will have an early Christmas present and something else to celebrate as we head towards the end of the year," says Professor Pascale Quester, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), University of Adelaide.

"Anything that can provide certainty to young people wanting to embark on this exciting next step in their life journey is welcome.

"From our point of view, we’re also excited to see how many students are choosing to put the University of Adelaide as their first preference, and their interest in some of our new degree programs.

"Speaking as a parent, I know this can be a challenging time for students and their families. I wish them all the very best with their university offers, and remember: even if a student doesn’t receive their first preference, there are still other opportunities and pathways available. Our student advisors will be able to talk through your options and provide helpful advice."
