Five injured in crash near Denman, Hunter Valley, NSW

Inquiries are continuing after a single vehicle crash near Denman, in the Hunter Valley, overnight that left five people injured, two of them seriously, NSW Police say.

About 12.45am today, a Suzuki Vitara was travelling along Bylong Valley Way when it left the road and rolled near the intersection of Mount Dangar Road.

Three passengers in the rear tray of the vehicle were ejected.

Two of the rear passengers, two 16-year-old girls, were airlifted to John Hunter Hospital.

The driver, front seat passenger and other rear seat passenger sustained minor injuries.

The driver, a 17-year-old male, underwent a random breath test at the scene and this returned a negative result.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
