Five juveniles charged after attempted robbery in Kelso.

Police have charged five juveniles following an alleged attempted robbery in the state’s Central Tablelands yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 6.55pm yesterday a 20-year-old woman was driving along Boyd Street, Kelso, when five juveniles wearing balaclavas stood on the roadway and blocked her vehicles path.

The juveniles allegedly attempted to gain entry to her vehicle and one male jumped on her bonnet.

The woman called triple zero "000" and a nearby police vehicle responded. As police approached they saw the same group attempting to stop another vehicle.

The five juveniles were arrested and conveyed to Bathurst Police Station.

A 12-year-old boy, a 12 year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy, a 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were charged with demand property in company with menaces with intent to steal.

They were all given conditional bail to appear at a Children’s Court on Monday 24 July 2017.
