Flags at Half-Mast for Fallen Victoria Police Officers

Flags to Fly at Half-Mast in Honour of Fallen Victoria Police Officers

Flags were flown at half-mast on Thursday, 28 August, to honour two Victoria Police officers who tragically lost their lives in the line of duty on Tuesday in the Alpine town of Porepunkah.

As a mark of mourning and respect, the Australian National Flag was flown at half-mast throughout the day at all Council buildings and facilities.

In addition, Horsham Town Hall was illuminated in blue last night and will again shine tonight, Friday 29 August as a symbol of gratitude and remembrance.

Council extends its deepest sympathies to Victoria Police and all those affected by this tragic loss.
