Fleet of stolen cars found at Unley, South Australia

Police have seized 10 stolen cars after they were all found dumped in an Unley Street.

Just after 12.30pm on Wednesday 4 December, a local resident reported several vehicles had been parked in Charles Lane, unmoved for several months.

Police checks on the car registrations provided revealed the abandoned cars were in fact active stolen vehicles.

A further search by police patrols uncovered a total of 10 stolen cars parked in the street.

The cars consisting of six Nissans, two Subarus and two Toyotas were all reported stolen from suburbs including Burnside, Unley, Adelaide and Mitchell Park between July and mid-November this year.

The stolen cars have all been seized for forensic testing, with police investigations continuing.
