Flinders Street home invasion

Investigators from Melbourne Embona Task Force are seeking to identify five men following a home invasion in the Melbourne CBD earlier this month.

Police have been told four male occupants were in an apartment at a Flinders Street hotel about 5am on 7 June, when they invited two unknown men inside.

A short time later one of the men let three other unknown males into the apartment without the knowledge or consent of the occupants.

All five men threatened the occupants with kitchen knives before making demands for property and cash.

On two separate occasions, one of the men forced a victim to withdraw cash at a nearby ATM.

Investigators have released CCTV stills of five men who they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The victims, two 28-year-old and a 34-year-old from Melbourne, and a 29-year-old from Burwood, were not seriously hurt as a result of the incident.
