ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:

RENEWED MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT NITMILUK CENTRE FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

River levels peaked just below the minor flood level along the Katherine River at Nitmiluk Centre during Monday evening. Further rainfall is forecast over the catchment in the next few days, which may lead to renewed minor flooding from Tuesday afternoon.

Katherine River Gorge Road:

Renewed minor flooding is possible along the Katherine River at Nitmiluk Centre.

The Katherine River at Nitmiluk Centre is currently at 2.77 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Katherine River at Nitmiluk Centre may exceed the minor flood level (3.00 m) from Tuesday afternoon. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.
