Renewed river level rises occurred along the Katherine River at Nitmiluk Centre during Tuesday afternoon, peaking just below the minor flood level. Further rainfall is forecast across the catchment over the next few days, which may lead to renewed minor flooding from overnight Wednesday into Thursday.

Renewed minor flooding is possible along the Katherine River at Nitmiluk Centre.
The Katherine River at Nitmiluk Centre is currently at 2.18 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Katherine River at Nitmiluk Centre may exceed the minor flood level (3.00 m) overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
