ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:
River levels are peaking below the minor flood level at Beswick Bridge in the Waterhouse River and minor flooding is no longer expected.
Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder on Monday and into Tuesday. The situation is being closely monitored and warnings will be issued as required. A Flood Watch is current for parts of the Top End, Barkly and Tanami Districts and Gulf of Carpentaria Rivers.
Waterhouse River:
Flooding is no longer expected along the Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge.
The Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge is currently at 7.04 m and steady around a peak, below the minor flood level. The Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge is likely to remain below the minor flood level (7.7 m).
